R452A is a non-ozone-depleting, non-flammable (ASHRAE A1 classification) zeotropic HFC+HFO refrigerant blend, designed as a lower global warming potential (GWP 1,945) alternative to R404A and R507. It offers comparable cooling capacity and energy efficiency to R404A, with a matched compressor discharge temperature. This refrigerant must be charged from the liquid phase to ensure accurate composition.
